'Covered' in the Bible

Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, favored by God] is he whose transgression is forgiven,And whose sin is covered.

My dishonor is before me all day long,And humiliation has covered my face,

Yet You have [distressingly] crushed us in the place of jackalsAnd covered us with [the deep darkness of] the shadow of death.

The meadows are clothed with flocksAnd the valleys are covered with grain;They shout for joy and they sing.

When you lie down [to rest] among the sheepfolds,You [Israel] are like the wings of a dove [of victory] overlaid with silver,Its feathers glistening with gold [trophies taken from the enemy].
