'Deaf' in the Bible
Yahweh said to him, “Who made the human mouth? Who makes him mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, Yahweh?
You must not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but you are to fear your God; I am Yahweh.
Davidic.Lord, I call to You;my rock, do not be deaf to me.If You remain silent to me,I will be like those going down to the Pit.
I am like a deaf person; I do not hear.I am like a speechless personwho does not open his mouth.

Nations will see and be ashamedof all their power.They will put their hands over their mouths,and their ears will become deaf.
the blind see, the lame walk, those with skin diseases are healed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news.
They brought to Him a deaf man who also had a speech difficulty, and begged Jesus to lay His hand on him.

When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly coming together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you: come out of him and never enter him again!”
He replied to them, “Go and report to John the things you have seen and heard: The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with skin diseases are healed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news.
