'Decided' in the Bible

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob the God of our ancestors has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you betrayed and rejected in the presence of Pilate, even though he had decided to let him go.

"When he was 40 years old, he decided to visit his brothers, the descendants of Israel.

So all of the disciples decided they would send a contribution to the brothers living in Judea, as they were able,

"Therefore, I have decided that we should not trouble these gentiles who are turning to God.

Then the apostles, the elders, and the whole church decided to choose some of their men to send with Paul and Barnabas to Antioch. These were Judas, who was called Barsabbas, and Silas, who were leaders among the brothers.

and stayed there for three months. When he was about to sail for Syria, a plot was initiated against him by the Jews, so he decided to go back through Macedonia.

Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus to avoid spending time in Asia, as he was in a hurry to get to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost, if that was possible.

I find that he has not done anything deserving of death. But since he has appealed to his Majesty, I have decided to send him.

When it was decided that we should sail to Italy, Paul and some other prisoners were transferred to a centurion named Julius, who belonged to the emperor's division.
