'Divination' in the Bible

Is not this the one from which my lord drinks and which he indeed uses for divination? You have done wrong in doing this.’”

Joseph said to them, “What is this deed that you have done? Do you not know that such a man as I can indeed practice divination?”

‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor practice divination or soothsaying.

therefore, you women will no longer see false visions or practice divination, and I will deliver My people out of your hand. Thus you will know that I am the Lord.”

For the king of Babylon stands at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination; he shakes the arrows, he consults the household idols, he looks at the liver.

Therefore it will be night for you—without vision,And darkness for you—without divination.The sun will go down on the prophets,And the day will become dark over them.
