'Envious' in the Bible

But Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”

Do not worry because of evildoers,Nor be envious toward wrongdoers;

For I was envious of the arrogantAs I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

The ransom for a man’s life is his wealth,But the poor man does not even have to listen to a rebuke or threats [from the envious].

Do not eat the bread of a selfish man,Or desire his delicacies;

Do not be envious of evil men,Nor desire to be with them;

Do not get upset because of evildoers,Or be envious of the wicked,
