'Even' in the Bible

Jerusalem sinned greatly,Therefore she has become an unclean thing.All who honored her despise herBecause they have seen her nakedness;Even she herself groans and turns away.

י YodThe adversary has seizedall her precious belongings.She has even seen the nationsenter her sanctuary—those You had forbiddento enter Your assembly.

The Lord has given up to destruction all the living-places of Jacob without pity; pulling down in his wrath the strong places of the daughter of Judah, stretching out on the earth the wounded, even her king and her rulers.

What protest may a living man make, even a man about the punishment of his sin?
