'Flood' in the Bible

The LORD sat enthroned over the flood, and the LORD sits as king forever.

Therefore every godly person should pray to you at such a time. Surely a flood of great waters will not reach him.

I am sinking in deep mire, and there is no solid ground. I have come into deep water, and the flood overwhelms me.
