'Given' in the Bible

Here I am with the children the Lord has given me to be signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of Hosts who dwells on Mount Zion.

For a child will be born for us,a son will be given to us,and the government will be on His shoulders.He will be namedWonderful Counselor, Mighty God,Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

What answer will be given to the messengers from that nation?The Lord has founded Zion,and His afflicted people find refuge in her.

Be ashamed Sidon, the stronghold of the sea,for the sea has spoken:“I have not been in labor or given birth.I have not raised young menor brought up young women.”

For you the entire vision will be like the words of a sealed document. If it is given to one who can read and he is asked to read it, he will say, “I can’t read it, because it is sealed.”

And if the document is given to one who cannot read and he is asked to read it, he will say, “I can’t read.”

It will blossom abundantlyand will also rejoice with joy and singing.The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,the splendor of Carmel and Sharon.They will see the glory of the Lord,the splendor of our God.

The Lord God has given Methe tongue of those who are instructedto know how to sustain the weary with a word.He awakens Me each morning;He awakens My ear to listen like those being instructed.

I—I am the One who comforts you.Who are you that you should fear man who dies,or a son of man who is given up like grass?
