'Gloat' in the Bible
Do not tell it in Gath, don’t announce it in the marketplaces of Ashkelon,or the daughters of the Philistines will rejoice, and the daughters of the uncircumcised will gloat.
My God, I trust in You.Do not let me be disgraced;do not let my enemies gloat over me.
Lord, how long will the wicked—how long will the wicked gloat?
Don’t gloat when your enemy falls, and don’t let your heart rejoice when he stumbles,
ע AyinThe Lord has done what He planned; He has accomplished His decree, which He ordained in days of old.He has demolished without compassion, letting the enemy gloat over youand exalting the horn of your adversaries.
Do not gloat over your brotherin the day of his calamity;do not rejoice over the people of Judahin the day of their destruction;do not boastfully mockin the day of distress.
Do not enter the gate of My peoplein the day of their disaster.Yes, you—do not gloat over their miseryin the day of their disasterand do not appropriate their possessionsin the day of their disaster.
