'Hear' in the Bible

The captives are completely at ease;they do not hear the voice of their oppressor.

We have investigated this, and it is true!Hear it and understand it for yourself.

Hear now my argument,and listen to my defense.

You will pray to Him, and He will hear you,and you will fulfill your vows.

These are but the fringes of His ways;how faint is the word we hear of Him!Who can understand His mighty thunder?

Will God hear his crywhen distress comes on him?
