'Hear' in the Bible

Jesus answered them, "Go and tell John what you hear and observe:

the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the destitute hear the good news.

He will not quarrel or shout, and no one will hear him shouting in the streets.

The queen of the south will stand up and condemn the people living today, because she came from so far away to hear the wisdom of Solomon. But look! Something greater than Solomon is here!"

That's why I speak to them in parables, because "they look but don't see, and they listen but don't hear or understand.'

for this people's heart has become dull, and their ears are hard of hearing. They have shut their eyes so that they might not see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.'

"How blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear!

I tell all of you with certainty, many prophets and righteous people longed to see the things you see but did not see them, and to hear the things you hear but did not hear them."

and asked him, "Do you hear what these people are saying?"

You'll hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you aren't alarmed. These things must take place, but the end hasn't come yet,

Then Pilate asked him, "Don't you hear how many charges they're bringing against you?"
