'Integrity' in the Bible
To receive instruction in wise behavior and the discipline of wise thoughtfulness,Righteousness, justice, and integrity;
He stores away sound wisdom for the righteous [those who are in right standing with Him];He is a shield to those who walk in integrity [those of honorable character and moral courage],
For the upright [those who are in right standing with God] will live in the landAnd those [of integrity] who are blameless [in God’s sight] will remain in it;
The integrity and moral courage of the upright will guide them,But the crookedness of the treacherous will destroy them.
Better is a poor man who walks in his integrityThan a [rich] man who is twisted in his speech and is a [shortsighted] fool.
The righteous man who walks in integrity and lives life in accord with his [godly] beliefs—How blessed [happy and spiritually secure] are his children after him [who have his example to follow].
A wicked man puts on a bold face,But as for the upright, he considers, directs, and establishes his way [with the confidence of integrity].
Like a muddied fountain and a polluted springIs a righteous man who yields and compromises his integrity before the wicked.
Better is the poor who walks in his integrityThan he who is crooked and two-faced though he is rich.
