'Joke' in the Bible
Then Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law [who were] taking his daughters and said, "Get up! Go out from this place, because Yahweh [is going] to destroy the city!" But {it seemed like a joke} in the eyes of his sons-in-law.
“I am a joke to my friends,The one who called on God and He answered him;The just and blameless man is a joke.
You make us a joke among the nations,a laughingstock among the peoples.
I wore sackcloth as my clothing,and I was a joke to them.
All who pass by plunder him;he has become an object of ridiculeto his neighbors.
