'Justice' in the Bible

then you can swear, “As the Lord lives,”in truth, in justice, and in righteousness,then the nations will be blessed by Himand will pride themselves in Him.

Then I thought:They are just the poor;they have played the fool.For they don’t understand the way of the Lord,the justice of their God.

I will go to the powerfuland speak to them.Surely they know the way of the Lord,the justice of their God.However, these also had broken the yokeand torn off the chains.

But the one who boasts should boast in this,that he understands and knows Me—that I am Yahweh, showing faithful love,justice, and righteousness on the earth,for I delight in these things.This is the Lord’s declaration.

Discipline me, Lord, but with justice—not in Your anger,or You will reduce me to nothing.

House of David, this is what the Lord says:Administer justice every morning,and rescue the victim of robberyfrom the hand of his oppressor,or My anger will flare up like fireand burn unquenchablybecause of their evil deeds.

This is what the Lord says: Administer justice and righteousness. Rescue the victim of robbery from the hand of his oppressor. Don’t exploit or brutalize the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow. Don’t shed innocent blood in this place.

Are you a king because you excel in cedar?Didn’t your father eat and drinkand administer justice and righteousness?Then it went well with him.

“The days are coming”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“when I will raise up a Righteous Branch of David.He will reign wisely as kingand administer justice and righteousness in the land.

In those days and at that timeI will cause a Righteous Branchto sprout up for David,and He will administer justiceand righteousness in the land.

And you, My servant Jacob, do not be afraid—this is the Lord’s declaration—for I will be with you.I will bring destruction on all the nationswhere I have banished you,but I will not bring destruction on you.I will discipline you with justice,and I will by no means leave you unpunished.
