'Kings' in the Bible

For this is what the Lord God says: “See, I am about to bring King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, king of kings, against Tyre from the north with horses, chariots, cavalry, and a vast company of troops.

When your merchandise was unloaded from the seas,you satisfied many peoples.You enriched the kings of the earthwith your abundant wealth and goods.

All the inhabitants of the coasts and islandsare appalled at you.Their kings shudder with fear;their faces are contorted.

Your heart became proud because of your beauty;For the sake of your splendoryou corrupted your wisdom.So I threw you down to the earth;I made you a spectacle before kings.

I will cause many nations to be appalled at you,and their kings will shudder with fear because of youwhen I brandish My sword in front of them.On the day of your downfalleach of them will trembleevery moment for his life.

Edom is there, her kings and all her princes,who, despite their strength, have been placedamong those slain by the sword.They lie down with the uncircumcised,with those who descend to the Pit.

He said to me: “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place for the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the Israelites forever. The house of Israel and their kings will no longer defile My holy name by their religious prostitution and by the corpses of their kings at their high places.

Now let them remove their prostitution and the corpses of their kings far from Me, and I will dwell among them forever.
