'Laid' in the Bible
So they were seeking to seize Him; and no man laid his hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.
Some of them wanted to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him.
and said, “Where have you laid him?” They *said to Him, “Lord, come and see.”
*got up from supper, and *laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He girded Himself.
Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.
Therefore because of the Jewish day of preparation, since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
So she *ran and *came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and *said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.”
And they *said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She *said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”
Jesus *said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing Him to be the gardener, she *said to Him, “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”
So when they got out on the land, they *saw a charcoal fire already laid and fish placed on it, and bread.
