'Laid' in the Bible
So they were eager to arrest Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His time had not yet come.
Some of them wanted to arrest Him, but no one laid hands on Him.
and said, “Where have you laid him?” They said, “Lord, come and see.”
Now there was a garden at the place where He was crucified, and in the garden a new tomb [cut out of solid rock] in which no one had yet been laid.
Therefore, because of the Jewish day of Preparation, and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple (John), whom Jesus loved (esteemed), and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him!”
And they said to her, “Woman, why are you crying?” She told them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”
