'Lay' in the Bible
Jesus said to him, "Foxes have dens, and the birds in the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."
As he was saying these things, a ruler came, bowed low before him, and said, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and she will live."
From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and forceful people lay hold of it.
