'Level' in the Bible
I'll tear down the wall that you've smeared with whitewash, level it to the ground, and tear out its foundation. Then it will collapse and you'll perish with it! Then you'll know that I am the LORD.
I will hand you over to them, and they will level your mounds and tear down your elevated places. They will strip off your clothes, take your beautiful jewelry, and leave you stark naked.

He will kill your daughters on the mainland with the sword, and he shall make siege walls against you and build a siege ramp against you and raise [a roof of] large shields [as a defense] against you.
And [each level] widened, and it went around {upward} to the side rooms for the structure that surrounds the temple {upward} {all the way around}, therefore [the] width [increased] to the temple {upward}, and thus the lower [level] goes up to the upper [level] by [means of] the middle story.
And the sloping windows and the covered ways round all three of them were of shakiph-wood all round from the level of the earth up to the windows;
From earth level up to the windows there were winged ones and palm-trees pictured on the wall.
And the upper chambers narrowed, for [the] galleries took away [space] from them more than [they took] from the lower [levels] and more than [they took] from the middle [level] [in the] building.
For they were on three floors, and they had no pillars like the pillars of the outer square; so the highest was narrower than the lowest and middle floors from the earth level.
And from the base on the earth level to the lower shelf, the altar is two cubits high and a cubit wide; and from the smaller shelf to the greater shelf it is four cubits high and a cubit wide.
