'Little' in the Bible

For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.

Then I said,“O Lord God, please stop!How can Jacob stand,For he is so small [that he cannot endure this]?”

Saying, When doth the new moon pass, And we sell ground corn? And the sabbath, and we open out pure corn? To make little the ephah, And to make great the shekel, And to use perversely balances of deceit.
