'Loins' in the Bible

Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins,And faithfulness the belt about His waist.

For this reason my loins are full of anguish;Pains have seized me like the pains of a woman in labor.I am so bewildered I cannot hear, so terrified I cannot see.

Thus says the Lord to Cyrus His anointed,Whom I have taken by the right hand,To subdue nations before himAnd to loose the loins of kings;To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

“Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are named IsraelAnd who came forth from the loins of Judah,Who swear by the name of the LordAnd invoke the God of Israel,But not in truth nor in righteousness.
