'Longer' in the Bible
"For I will be merciful toward their evil deeds, and their sins I will remember no longer."
When he says, A new agreement, he has made the first agreement old. But anything which is getting old and past use will not be seen much longer.
Otherwise, wouldn’t they have stopped being offered, since the worshipers, once purified, would no longer have any consciousness of sins?
