'Lying' in the Bible

I have hated them that observe lying vanities; and as for me, I have confided in Jehovah.

Let the lying lips become dumb, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.

Thou hast loved evil rather than good, lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

Because of the sin of their mouth, the word of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; and because of cursing and lying which they speak.

For the mouth of the wicked man and the mouth of deceit are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue,

Jehovah, deliver my soul from the lying lip, from the deceitful tongue.

Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways;
