'Mean' in the Bible
And Abimelech said to Abraham, What mean these seven ewe-lambs, these which thou hast set by themselves?
And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say to you, What mean ye by this service?
that this may be a sign in your midst. When your children ask hereafter, saying, What mean ye by these stones?
And he spoke to the children of Israel, saying, When your children hereafter ask their fathers, saying, What mean these stones?
