'Ones' in the Bible

Zion will be redeemed by justice,her repentant ones by righteousness.

I heard the Lord of Hosts say:Indeed, many houses will become desolate,grand and lovely ones without inhabitants.

The cow and the bear will graze,their young ones will lie down together,and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

I have commanded My chosen ones;I have also called My warriors,who exult in My triumph,to execute My wrath.

Their bows will cut young men to pieces.They will have no compassion on little ones;they will not look with pity on children.

Who planned this against Tyre,the bestower of crowns,whose traders are princes,whose merchants are the honored ones of the earth?

The Lord of Hosts planned it,to desecrate all its glorious beauty,to disgrace all the honored ones of the earth.

In a little more than a yearyou overconfident ones will shudder,for the vintage will failand the harvest will not come.

Shudder, you complacent ones;tremble, you overconfident ones!Strip yourselves bareand put sackcloth around your waists.

He says,“It is not enough for you to be My Servantraising up the tribes of Jacoband restoring the protected ones of Israel.I will also make you a light for the nations,to be My salvation to the ends of the earth.”

Shout for joy, you heavens!Earth, rejoice!Mountains break into joyful shouts!For the Lord has comforted His people,and will have compassion on His afflicted ones.

I will produce descendants from Jacob,and heirs to My mountains from Judah;My chosen ones will possess it,and My servants will dwell there.

You will leave your name behindas a curse for My chosen ones,and the Lord God will kill you;but He will give His servants another name.

They will not build and others live in them;they will not plant and others eat.For My people’s lives will belike the lifetime of a tree.My chosen ones will fully enjoythe work of their hands.
