'Polished' in the Bible

The earthen vessel in which it was boiled is to be broken, unless it was boiled in a bronze vessel, in which case it is to be polished very well and rinsed in water.

And when a man's head is polished, he is bald, he is clean;

and if from the corner of his face his head is polished, he is bald of the forehead; he is clean.
