'Press' in the Bible

“Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook?Or press down his tongue with a cord?

For they have fled from the swords,From the drawn sword, and from the bent bowAnd from the press of battle.

For the king of the North will again raise a greater multitude than the former, and after an interval of some years he will press on with a great army and much equipment.

“So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord.His going forth is as certain as the dawn;And He will come to us like the rain,Like the spring rain watering the earth.”

Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
