'Ravenous' in the Bible
and the ravenous birds come down upon the carcases, and Abram causeth them to turn back.
“Benjamin is a ravenous wolf;In the morning he devours the prey,And in the evening he divides the spoil.”
A path -- not known it hath a ravenous fowl, Nor scorched it hath an eye of the kite,
An {appetite} that is sated spurns honey, but [to] an {appetite} that is ravenous, all bitterness [is] sweet.
Like a roaring lion and a charging bearIs a wicked ruler over a poor people.

Their horses are swifter than leopards, and more cunning than wolves that attack at night. Their horsemen are galloping as they approach from far away. They swoop in like ravenous vultures.
“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
