'Righteousness' in the Bible

To receive instruction in wise behavior,Righteousness, justice and equity;

Then you will discern righteousness and justiceAnd equity and every good course.

“All the utterances of my mouth are in righteousness;There is nothing crooked or perverted in them.

“Riches and honor are with me,Enduring wealth and righteousness.

“I walk in the way of righteousness,In the midst of the paths of justice,

Ill-gotten gains do not profit,But righteousness delivers from death.

Riches do not profit in the day of wrath,But righteousness delivers from death.

The righteousness of the blameless will smooth his way,But the wicked will fall by his own wickedness.

The righteousness of the upright will deliver them,But the treacherous will be caught by their own greed.

The wicked earns deceptive wages,But he who sows righteousness gets a true reward.

He who is steadfast in righteousness will attain to life,And he who pursues evil will bring about his own death.

In the way of righteousness is life,And in its pathway there is no death.

Righteousness guards the one whose way is blameless,But wickedness subverts the sinner.

Righteousness exalts a nation,But sin is a disgrace to any people.

The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,But He loves one who pursues righteousness.

Better is a little with righteousnessThan great income with injustice.

It is an abomination for kings to commit wicked acts,For a throne is established on righteousness.

A gray head is a crown of glory;It is found in the way of righteousness.

Loyalty and truth preserve the king,And he upholds his throne by righteousness.

To do righteousness and justiceIs desired by the Lord more than sacrifice.

He who pursues righteousness and loyaltyFinds life, righteousness and honor.

Take away the wicked before the king,And his throne will be established in righteousness.
