'River' in the Bible

On that day the Lord will use a razor hired from beyond the Euphrates River—the king of Assyria—to shave the head, the hair on the legs, and to remove the beard as well.

the Lord will certainly bring against themthe mighty rushing waters of the Euphrates River—the king of Assyria and all his glory.It will overflow its channelsand spill over all its banks.

The waters of the sea will dry up,and the river will be parched and dry.

The reeds by the Nile, by the mouth of the river,and all the cultivated areas of the Nilewill wither, blow away, and vanish.

On that daythe Lord will thresh grain from the Euphrates Riveras far as the Wadi of Egypt,and you Israelites will be gathered one by one.

If only you had paid attention to My commands.Then your peace would have been like a river,and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

For this is what the Lord says:I will make peace flow to her like a river,and the wealth of nations like a flood;you will nurse and be carried on her hipand bounced on her lap.
