'Roots' in the Bible

His roots twine over a stone heap; he sees a house of stone.

His roots dry up {below}, and its branches wither away above.

He puts his hand on the hard rock; he overturns mountains by [the] roots.

My roots [were] open to water, and dew spent the night on my branches;

They are picking salt herbs, the leaves of bushes, and [the] roots of broom trees to warm themselves.

Look, he scatters his lightning around him, and he covers the roots of the sea.
