'Signs' in the Bible

When he came out, he was not able to speak to them. They realized that he had seen a vision in the holy place, because he was making signs to them and remained unable to speak.

So they made signs to the baby's father, inquiring what he wanted to name his son.

Now at one point the Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God was coming, so he answered, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed,

There will be great earthquakes, and famines and plagues in various places, and there will be terrifying sights and great signs from heaven.

"And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth nations will be in distress, anxious over the roaring of the sea and the surging waves.
