'Tender' in the Bible
Meanwhile, Abraham ran to the herd and got a tender, choice calf. He gave it to a young man, who hurried to prepare it.
Let my teaching fall like rainand my word settle like dew,like gentle rain on new grassand showers on tender plants.
Their inhabitants have become powerless,dismayed, and ashamed.They are plants of the field,tender grass,grass on the rooftops,blasted by the east wind.

But leave the stump with its roots in the ground,and with a band of iron and bronze around it,in the tender grass of the field.Let him be drenched with dew from the skyand share the plants of the earthwith the animals.
