'Tends' in the Bible
Aaron must burn fragrant incense on it; he must burn it every morning when he tends the lamps.
Cease from anger and abandon wrath;Do not fret; it leads only to evil.
Whoever tends a fig tree will eat its fruit,and whoever looks after his master will be honored.
A wise man's heart tends toward his right, but a fool's heart tends toward his left.
Like a shepherd, he tends his flock. He gathers the lambs in his arms, carries them close to his heart, and gently leads the mother sheep."
He tends ashes. A deceived mind has lead him astray. It cannot be his life, nor can he say, "There's a lie in my right hand."
