Jesus replied, "I told you that I am the one, so if you are looking for me, let these men go." This was to fulfill what he had said, "I did not lose a single one of those you gave me."
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah. Although he was rich, for your sakes he became poor, so that you, through his poverty, might become rich.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Instead, we have one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet he never sinned.
