'Things' in the Bible

Who does great and unsearchable things,Wonders without number.

“How long will you say these things,And the words of your mouth be a mighty wind?

“Please inquire of past generations,And consider the things searched out by their fathers.

Who does great things, unfathomable,And wondrous works without number.

‘Yet these things You have concealed in Your heart;I know that this is within You:

“But I have intelligence as well as you;I am not inferior to you.And who does not know such things as these?

“Only two things do not do to me,Then I will not hide from Your face:

“For You write bitter things against meAnd make me to inherit the iniquities of my youth.

“I have heard many such things;Sorry comforters are you all.

“Yet He filled their houses with good things;But the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

“God thunders with His voice wondrously,Doing great things which we cannot comprehend.

“I know that You can do all things,And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.

‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand,Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.”
