Though they intended evil against YouAnd devised a plot,They will not succeed.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I fear no evil, for You are with me;Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Though a host encamp against me,My heart will not fear;Though war arise against me,In spite of this I shall be confident.
I went about as though it were my friend or brother;I bowed down mourning, as one who sorrows for a mother.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should changeAnd though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;

Though while he lives he congratulates himself—And though men praise you when you do well for yourself—
Have the workers of wickedness no knowledge,Who eat up My people as though they ate breadAnd have not called upon God?

Even though princes sit and talk against me,Your servant meditates on Your statutes.
Though I have become like a wineskin in the smoke,I do not forget Your statutes.
For though the Lord is exalted,Yet He regards the lowly,But the haughty He knows from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies,And Your right hand will save me.
