'Tossed' in the Bible
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive and green today and tomorrow is [cut and] thrown [as fuel] into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!
But the boat [by this time] was already a long distance from land, tossed and battered by the waves; for the wind was against them.
On the next day, as we were being violently tossed about by the storm [and taking on water], they began to jettison the cargo;

But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind.
