'Waters' in the Bible

When they moved, I heard the sound of their wings like the roar of mighty waters, like the voice of the Almighty, and a sound of commotion like the noise of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.

Then he took some of the land’s seedand put it in a fertile field;he set it like a willow,a plant by abundant waters.

It had been plantedin a good field by abundant watersin order to produce branches,bear fruit, and become a splendid vine.

I will slaughter all its cattlethat are beside many waters.No human foot will churn them again,and no cattle hooves will disturb them.

and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice sounded like the roar of mighty waters, and the earth shone with His glory.

On the south side it will run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, and on to the Brook of Egypt as far as the Mediterranean Sea. This will be the southern side.

Next to the territory of Gad toward the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the Brook of Egypt, and out to the Mediterranean Sea.
