'Womb' in the Bible
He said,“Naked (without possessions) I came [into this world] from my mother’s womb,And naked I will return there.The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Because it did not shut the doors of my mother’s womb,Nor hide trouble from my eyes.
‘Why then did You bring me out of the womb?Would that I had perished and no eye had seen me!
‘I should have been as though I had not existed;[I should have been] carried from the womb to the grave.’
“A mother will forget him;The worm feeds on him until he is no longer remembered.And wickedness will be broken like a tree [which cannot be restored].
“Did not He who made me in the womb make my servant,And did not the same One fashion us both in the womb?
(But from my youth the orphan grew up with me as with a father,And from my mother’s womb I have been the widow’s guide),
“Or who enclosed the sea with doorsWhen it burst forth and went out of the womb;
“Out of whose womb has come the ice?And the frost of heaven, who has given it birth?
