'Work' in the Bible
Jesus told them, "My food is doing the will of the one who sent me and completing his work.
I have sent you to harvest what you have not worked for. Others have worked, and you have adopted their work as your own."
nor do you have his word at work in you, because you do not believe in the one whom he sent.
Do not work for food that perishes but for food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set his seal on him."
Jesus answered them, "This is God's work: to believe in the one whom he has sent."
Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned. This happened so that God's work might be revealed in him.
I must do the work of the one who sent me while it is day. Night is approaching, when no one can work.
You believe, don't you, that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I don't speak on my own. It is the Father who dwells in me and who carries out his work.
