Those who regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

Jesus therefore said to them, "Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn't overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn't know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become children of light." Working together, we entreat also that you not receive the grace of God in vain,

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again? He said therefore, "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. He called ten servants of his, and gave them ten mina coins, and told them, 'Conduct business until I come.' But his citizens hated him, and sent an envoy after him, saying, 'We don't want this man to reign over us.'read more.

'For I tell you that to everyone who has, will more be given; but from him who doesn't have, even that which he has will be taken away from him. But bring those enemies of mine who didn't want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.'"

I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.

So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.

"Don't give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

He who corrects a mocker invites insult. He who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.

For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor." However, knowing this, Jesus said to them, "Why do you trouble the woman? Because she has done a good work for me. For you always have the poor with you; but you don't always have me. For in pouring this ointment on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of as a memorial of her."

She broke the jar, and poured it over his head. But there were some who were indignant among themselves, saying, "Why has this ointment been wasted? [They shall be] wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat and bitter destruction. I will send the teeth of animals on them, With the poison of crawling things of the dust.

Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low in their iniquity.

Behold, Yahweh makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants.

that they may want bread and water, and be dismayed one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.

Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel, I have made known that which will surely be.
