Then they asked him, "What must we do to perform God's works?"
For we are God's masterpiece, created in the Messiah Jesus to perform good actions that God prepared long ago to be our way of life.
I have observed the burdens placed by God on human beings in order to perfect them.
When the crowd that had gathered heard this, they were pierced to the heart. They asked Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what should we do?"
he took them outside and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
"Then I asked, "What am I to do, Lord?'
Just then a man came up to Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what good deed should I do to have eternal life?"
As Jesus was setting out again, a man ran up to him, knelt down in front of him, and asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
Just then an expert in the Law stood up to test Jesus. He asked, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
Then an official asked Jesus, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
"Therefore, everyone who listens to these messages of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on a rock.
I will show you what everyone is like who comes to me, hears my words, and acts on them.

2 Samuel 7:3
Nathan replied to the king, "Go do everything you have in mind, because the LORD is with you."
Now be strong, Zerubbabel,' declares the LORD, "and be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and be strong, all you people of the land,' declares the LORD. "Go to work, because I am with you,' declares the LORD of the Heavenly Armies.
Here's what you must do: tell the truth to your neighbors, administer true and peaceful justice in your courtrooms,
"Not everyone who keeps saying to me, "Lord, Lord,' will get into the kingdom from heaven, but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven.
"Everyone who keeps on hearing these messages of mine and never puts them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
Therefore, whatever you want people to do for you, do the same for them, because this summarizes the Law and the Prophets."
Whatever you want people to do for you, do the same for them.
Jesus answered them, "This is God's work: to believe in the one whom he has sent."
Jesus told them, "My food is doing the will of the one who sent me and completing his work.
"But I have a greater testimony than John's, because the actions that the Father has given me to complete the very actions that I am doing testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.
I must do the work of the one who sent me while it is day. Night is approaching, when no one can work.
Jesus replied to them, "I've shown you many good actions from my Father. For which of them are you going to stone me?"
If I'm not doing my Father's actions, don't believe me.
If I hadn't done among them the actions that no one else did, they wouldn't have any sin. But now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
I glorified you on earth by completing the task you gave me to do.
"Fellow Israelis, listen to these words: Jesus from Nazareth was a man authenticated to you by God through miracles, wonders, and signs that God performed through him among you, as you yourselves know.
1 Corinthians 16:10
If Timothy comes, see to it that he does not have anything to be afraid of while he is with you, for he is doing the Lord's work as I am.
To the person who conquers and continues to do what I've commanded to the end, I will give authority over the nations.
