'Whole Earth' in the Bible

and seven pairs, male and female, of the birds of the sky—in order to keep offspring alive on the face of the whole earth.

but the dove found no resting place for her foot. She returned to him in the ark because water covered the surface of the whole earth. He reached out and brought her into the ark to himself.

These three were Noah’s sons, and from them the whole earth was populated.

Yet as surely as I live and as the whole earth is filled with the Lord’s glory,

He is the Lord our God;His judgments govern the whole earth.

Let the whole earth tremble before the Lord;let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

Then the iron, the fired clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were shattered and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors. The wind carried them away, and not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
