" 'If Israel's whole assembly did wrong unintentionally and the matter was concealed from the assembly's eyes, and they acted [against] {any of} Yahweh's commands that should not be {violated}, so that they incur guilt,

And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

“When someone sins in any of these ways:

If he has seen, heard, or known about something he has witnessed, and did not respond to a public call to testify, he is responsible for his sin.

Or if a person touches anything unclean, {whether} an unclean [wild] animal's dead body or an unclean domestic animal's dead body or an unclean swarmer's dead body, but {he is unaware of it}, he [is] unclean and he is guilty.

or when he touches human uncleanness with regard to anything by which he can become unclean, even if he did not realize it, but he himself has later come to know it and is guilty;

or when a person swears an oath, speaking thoughtlessly with his lips, whether to do evil or to do good, with regard to anything which the individual might speak thoughtlessly in an oath, even if he did not realize it, but he himself has later come to know it and is guilty with regard to one of these oaths --

"If a person when he sins {violates} one from all of Yahweh's commands that should not {be violated}, but he did not know, then he is guilty and he shall bear his guilt.

He shall bring to the priest a ram without defect from the flock as a guilt offering by your valuation, and the priest shall make atonement for him because of his unintentional wrong (although he himself did not know), and he will be forgiven.

Then when he hath sinned or trespassed, he shall restore again that he took violently away, or the wrong which he did, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

Then the priest is to make atonement for him in the LORD's presence, and it will be forgiven him regarding whatever he did."

But the fat of a dead carcase, and the fat of that which is torn, may be used in any other use; but ye shall in no wise eat it.

And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

He put the coat on him, making it tight with its band, and then the robe, and over it the ephod, with its band of needlework to keep it in place.

And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.

The Lord commanded what has been done today in order to make atonement for you.

So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

and a bull and a ram as peace offerings to sacrifice before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with [olive] oil, for today the Lord will appear to you.’”

And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

Then Aaron presented the people’s offering. He took the goat for the sin offering of the people, and killed it and offered it for sin, as he did the first.

He then presented the burnt offering, and did it according to the standard regulation.

but the breasts and the right shoulder, did Aaron wave as a wave-offering, before Yahweh, - as Moses commanded,

And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

"Why did you not eat the sin offering on the sanctuary's site, because it [is] {a most holy thing}? And he gave it to you to remove the community's guilt, to make atonement for them {before} Yahweh.

Then Aaron said to Moses, “This very day they have [obediently] presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord, but [such terrible things] as these have happened to me [and to them]; if I [and my sons] had eaten a sin offering today would it have been acceptable and pleasing in the sight of the Lord?”

You must not eat from their meat, and you must not touch their dead body--they are unclean for you.

And they shall be detestable to you; you must not eat from their meat, and you must detest their dead body.

And by these you shall become unclean--anyone who touches their dead body shall become unclean until the evening,

and anyone who carries their dead body must wash his garments, and he shall be unclean until the evening.

And anything that walks upon its paws among any of the animals that walks on [all] fours--they [are] unclean for you; anyone who touches their dead body shall become unclean until the evening,

and the one who carries their dead body must wash his garments, and he shall be unclean until the evening--they [are] unclean for you.

And these are also unclean to you among the things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, the mouse, the toad and all his kind,

These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.

And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.

And anything on which {one of their dead bodies} falls shall become unclean: an oven or a stove must be broken--they [are] unclean and shall be unclean for you.

Surely a spring or a cistern collecting water shall be clean, but that which touches their dead body shall become unclean.

And when {one of their dead bodies} falls on any {seed for sowing}, it [is] clean.

But when water is put on [the] seed and {one of their dead bodies} falls on it, it [is] unclean for you.

" 'And when {one of the animals} dies that is for you to eat, the one who touches its dead body shall become unclean until the evening.

And the one who eats {some of} its dead body must wash his garments, and he shall be unclean until the evening; and the one who carries its dead body must wash his garments, and he shall be unclean until the evening.

On the seventh day, the priest is to examine him again. If, in his opinion, the skin rash remained the same and it did not spread, then he is to isolate him for another seven days.

But if the scab did spread in the skin after he presented himself to the priest for cleansing, then he is to show himself a second time to the priest.

When the priest examines him and determines that the scab did, in fact, spread in his skin, then the priest is to pronounce him unclean, since it's an infectious skin disease."

When the priest examines the skin rash on the seventh day and finds that indeed the scab did not spread, there's no yellowish hair on it, and the scales don't appear more extensive than skin deep,

then shall the priest take a view and lo! if, in the skin of their flesh, are bright spots that are dull white, dead white spot, it is, that hath broken through in the skin - clean, he is.

"But if the priest examines it and the infection did not spread on the clothing, either in the woven or knitted material or on anything made of leather,

And the priest did the sin, and expiated for him being cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterwards he will slaughter the burnt-offering.

And he did the one from the turtle-doves, or from the sons of the dove, from what his hand shall attain.

And take the cedar-wood and the hyssop and the red thread and the living bird and put them in the blood of the dead bird and in the flowing water, shaking it over the house seven times.

And the priest did them, one a sin and the one a burnt-offering; and the priest expiated for him before Jehovah from his flowing.

And the priest did the one a sin, and the one a burnt-offering; and the priest expiated for her, before Jehovah, from the flowing of her uncleanness.

And Aaron brought the he goat which upon it came up the lot for Jehovah, and he did it for the sin.

Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

And he washed his flesh in water in the holy place, and he put on his garments and came forth, and did his burnt-offering, and the burnt-offering of the people, and expiated for himself, and for the people.

And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

And every soul that eateth of a dead carcase, or of that which was torn, be it one home-born, or a stranger, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even: then he shall be clean.

(because the people of the land, who [were] {before you}, did all these detestable things, so the land became unclean),

Thus you shall keep my obligation to not do any of the statutes {regarding} the detestable things that they did {before you}, so that you will not make yourselves unclean by them; I [am] Yahweh your God.'"

And ye watched all my laws and all my judgments, and did them: Jehovah.

"'The person who turns to the spirits of the dead and familiar spirits to commit prostitution by going after them, I will set my face against that person and cut him off from the midst of his people.

And a man who shall lie with his daughter-in-law, dying, they shall die, they two: they did profanation; their blood is upon them.

‘Therefore keep all My statutes and all My ordinances and do them, so that the land where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out [as it did those before you].

And ye shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

" 'And a man or a woman, if a spirit of the dead or a spirit of divination is in them, they shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones--their blood [is] on them.'"

And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:

virgin sister (who is a near relative of him and did not have a husband he may defile himself for her).

What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;

"These are the LORD's appointed festivals that you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. Bring offerings made by fire to the LORD a whole burnt offering, a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings. Do this every day on its assigned date

If a man disfigures his fellow, whatever he did is to be done to him also.

And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.

These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.

All those from thirty to fifty years old who did the work in the Tent of meeting,

These, are they who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, - whom Moses and Aaron did number, at the bidding of Yahweh, by the mediation of Moses.
