I have set Yahweh before me always. Because [he is] at my right hand I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices. Yes, my body will dwell in safety, for you will not abandon my soul to Sheol; you will not give your faithful one to see [the] grave. read more.
You will make known to me [the] path of life. In your presence [is] fullness of joy. At your right hand [are] pleasures forever.


[He is] the one who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants [are] like grasshoppers; the one who stretches out [the] heavens like a veil and spreads them out like tent to live [in],


Thus says the God, Yahweh, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and its offspring, who gives breath to the people upon it and spirit to those who walk in it.

Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth, and [the] heavens [are] the work of your hands.


For all the gods of the nations [are] idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.

{when he established} the heavens, there I [was], {when he drew} a circle upon the face of the deep,



For all the gods of the nations [are] idols, but Yahweh made the heavens. Splendor and majesty [are] before him; strength and joy [are] in his place.

I, wisdom, live with prudence, and I find knowledge and discretion. The fear of Yahweh [is] hatred of evil, pride, and arrogance and an evil way. And I hate a mouth of perversity. {Advice and sound judgment} are mine; I am understanding, {strength is mine}. read more.
By me kings reign, and rulers decree righteousness. By me rulers rule, and nobles--all judges of righteousness. I love {those who love me}, and those who seek me diligently shall find me. Fortune and glory [are] with me, enduring wealth and righteousness.

For all the gods of the peoples [are] idols, but Yahweh made [the] heavens.


They drank the wine and praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze, iron, wood and stone.

You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the speechless idols, however you were led.

Has a nation exchanged gods? And they [are] not gods! But my people have exchanged their glory for that which does not profit.

For all the gods of the nations [are] idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.

Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods [to] whom they [are] making smoke offerings, but they will certainly not save them in the time of their trouble.

Its land is filled [with] idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what they made [with] their fingers.


For even if after all [there] are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, just as [there] are many gods and many lords,

Can a human make for himself gods? Yet they [are] not gods!"


Give thanks to Yahweh; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the nations! Sing to him; sing praises to him; tell of his wondrous works! Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those seeking Yahweh rejoice! read more.
Seek Yahweh and his strength; seek his face continually! Remember his wonderful works that he has done, his wonders and the judgments of his mouth, O offspring of Israel, his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones! He [is] Yahweh our God; his judgments [are] in all the earth. Remember his covenant forever, the word he commanded for a thousand generations, that he {made} with Abraham, his sworn oath to Isaac. And he confirmed it to Jacob as a statute, an everlasting covenant to Israel, saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance." When you were few in number, little, and sojourners [were] in it, when they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people, he did not allow anyone to oppress them, and he rebuked kings on their account, [saying,] "You must not touch my anointed nor do harm to my prophets!" Sing to Yahweh, all the earth! Proclaim his salvation from day to day! Proclaim his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among the peoples! For Yahweh [is] great and greatly praised, and he is feared among all gods. For all the gods of the nations [are] idols, but Yahweh made the heavens. Splendor and majesty [are] before him; strength and joy [are] in his place. Ascribe to Yahweh, O clans of the nations, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength! Ascribe to Yahweh the glory of his name! Lift up an offering and come before him! Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness! Tremble before him, all the earth; surely the world shall not be shaken. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad, and let them tell the peoples, "Yahweh reigns!" Let the sea roar and its fullness; let the field rejoice and all that [is] in it. Then the trees of the forest shall sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth. Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he [is] good; his loyal love [is] everlasting. Then say, "Save us, O God of our salvation; gather us and rescue us from the nations that [we may] give thanks to your holy name [and] glory in your praise. Blessed be Yahweh the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting!" Then all the people said, "Amen!" and praised Yahweh.

Who among all of these does not know that Yahweh's hand has done this? In whose hand [is] the life of all living things and {the breath of every human being}? Does not [the] ear test words and [the] palate taste food for itself? read more.
Wisdom [is] with [the] aged, and understanding [is in] length of days. "With him [are] wisdom and powerful deeds, and to him [belong] counsel and understanding. If he tears down, then it will not be rebuilt; if he shuts a man in, then he cannot be freed. Look, [if] he withholds the water, then they dry up; and [if] he sends them out, then they overwhelm [the] land. "Strength and sound wisdom [are] with him; [the] deceived and [the] deceiver [are] his.
