Now I exhort you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you wrestle earnestly with me in prayers for me unto God; that I may be delivered from those who do not believe in Judea; and that my service which regards Jerusalem may be kindly accepted by the saints; that I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
ye also labouring together for us in prayer, that from many persons thanks may be given on our behalf for the gifts bestowed on us by many.
praying at every opportunity with all prayer and supplication in Spirit, and watching for this very purpose with perseverance and intercession for all the saints; and for me that there may be given unto me utterance to open my mouth with boldness, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds; that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Brethren, pray for us.
FINALLY, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run, and be glorified, even as among you; and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for there is not faith in all.
But at the same time prepare me also a lodging: for I hope that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
Pray for us: for we have confidence that we maintain a good conscience, in all things desirous to conduct ourselves with propriety.??19 But I entreat you the rather to do this, that I may the more speedily be restored to you.
