A perverse heart will depart from me; I will not know the wicked.


He who has a perverse heart finds no good, and he who has a crooked tongue falls into mischief.



And Jehovah smelled a sweet odor. And Jehovah said in His heart, I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, because the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth. And I will not again smite every living thing as I have done.

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts, and put the stumbling-block of their iniquity before their face. Should I at all be inquired of by them? A man shall be praised according to his wisdom, but he who is of a perverse heart shall be despised.
