Thematic Bible

"Why did you not eat the sin offering in the sanctuary? For it is most holy and he gave it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement on their behalf before the Lord.

Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that was in the basket at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

Then Moses spoke to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his remaining sons, "Take the grain offering which remains from the gifts of the Lord and eat it unleavened beside the altar, for it is most holy.

Aaron and his sons are to eat what is left over from it. It must be eaten unleavened in a holy place; they are to eat it in the courtyard of the Meeting Tent.

Any male among the priests may eat it. It must be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy.

The meat of his thanksgiving peace offering must be eaten on the day of his offering; he must not set any of it aside until morning.

Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons, "Boil the meat at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, and there you are to eat it and the bread which is in the ordination offering basket, just as I have commanded, saying, 'Aaron and his sons are to eat it,'

It will belong to Aaron and his sons, and they must eat it in a holy place because it is most holy to him, a perpetual allotted portion from the gifts of the Lord."

And you may eat it in any place, you and your household, because it is your wages for your service in the tent of meeting.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.

When you sit down to eat with a ruler, consider carefully what is before you, and put a knife to your throat if you possess a large appetite.

Eat anything that is sold in the marketplace without questions of conscience,

Do not let me have evil desires, or participate in sinful activities with men who behave wickedly. I will not eat their delicacies.

It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable for people to seek their own glory.

Whenever you enter a town and the people welcome you, eat what is set before you.

When you enter the town, you can find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. The people won't eat until he arrives, for he must bless the sacrifice. Once that happens, those who have been invited will eat. Now go on up, for this is the time when you can find him!"

Then he instructed the crowds to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and two fish, and looking up to heaven he gave thanks and broke the loaves. He gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds.

he took the seven loaves and the fish, and after giving thanks, he broke them and began giving them to the disciples, who then gave them to the crowds.

After he said this, Paul took bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all, broke it, and began to eat.
