He was faithful to Him who appointed him, just as Moses was in His entire house.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day that you will soon utterly perish from off the land you possess the other side of the Jordan. You will not prolong your days upon it, but will be destroyed.



By faith Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose to share the bad treatment with the people of God, rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. He considered the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt. He looked intently (respectfully) for the payment of the reward.



So then those who have faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.


He was faithful to Him who appointed him, just as Moses was in His entire house.


You saw that his heart was true to you, and made an agreement with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Jebusite and the Girgashite, even to give it to his seed, and you have done what you said; for righteousness is yours.








I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you. I will put my words in his mouth. He will speak to them all that I command him.

Moses said to the fathers, 'Jehovah will raise up for your brothers a prophet like me. You must listen to all the things he speaks to you.' (Deuteronomy 18:18)

Jehovah your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your fellow Israelites. Listen to him!

This is the Moses that said to the children of Israel, your God will raise up a prophet like me from your brothers.


He was faithful to Him who appointed him, just as Moses was in His entire house. He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses. This is because the builder of the house has more honor than the house. Every house has a builder. God is the builder of all things. read more.
Indeed Moses was faithful in His house, as a ministering servant, for a testimony of the things to be spoken afterwards. Christ was faithful as a Son over God's house. We are His house if we hold on to our courage (confidence) and rejoice (speak boldly) about our hope until the end.
